1. Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation is a disinfection method that uses
short-wavelength ultraviolet (far UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms
by destroying their nucleic acids, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular
functions. The far UVC light is safe for humans but kills 99% of all bacteria
2. The Laser Temperature Detector scans the individuals’ temperature as they walk through the UVC Scanner and Sanitiser.
3. The Facial Camera Scanner takes a snapshot of the individuals’ face and links it to the their temperature, which is saved on a database.
The system has the ability to notify, via an alarm or flashing light, if the individual has passed or failed the scanning criteria. This assists security in refusing entry to individuals that fail the scan and ensures that shops, banks, hospitals and other areas are successfully monitored for those people that may present with a fever as a result of COVID-19. The system can be installed simplistically with a simple alarm, or by activating SMS notifications for more advanced user systems.
